Further to La Poste's call-for-tender concerning the purchase of 500 electric vehicles, Micro-Vett and Newteon, in association with Fiat Professional are shortlisted.

Distributed by Newteon in France, Micro-Vett's electric technology incorporated on a Fiat Doblo convinced La Poste who is looking for innovative solutions in the field of sustainable mobility. The solution offered by Micro-Vett/Newteon and Fiat has been shortlisted further to the consultation launched in April 2007.


A prototype will be delivered to La Poste and tested during the summer period. At the end of this phase, 4 or 5 vehicles will be delivered as a pre-serie and tested in real conditions by postmen during autumn. In a first time, La Poste's goal is to purchase 500 electric vehicles and in a second time, to increase this amount to 10 000 vehicles within five years.
