“AC Propulsion is pleased to be working with Yulon because they have a responsive organization, aggressive plans, and they see the future clearly, “ said Tom Gage, AC Propulsion CEO and President. “Yulon’s vision agrees with ours, we both see the need for electric cars. Yulon chose the launch of their new brand, LUXGEN, to announce our electric vehicle program, because LUXGEN will embody luxury with intelligence. Electric propulsion helps achieve both virtues.”
AC Propulsion’s tzero technology is a platform for electric vehicle development, the tzero demonstrated 0-60 mph acceleration in 3.6 seconds, and 300-mile range on a single charge. In 2004, AC Propulsion sold a technology license to Tesla Motors, and Tesla adopted tzero technology for its line of electric sports cars.
