21. Fachtagung zu Energiespeicher für Hybrid- und Elektrofahrzeuge

Moderne Fahrzeuge mit ihren unzähligen Komfortfunktionen und umweltentlastenden teil- und vollhybriden Antriebskonzepten stellen sehr hohe Anforderungen an die Zuverlässigkeit der elektrischen Versorgung und damit auch an die Energiespeicher. Die Versorgung der Bordnetze und Antriebssysteme wird in Zukunft meist zum gleichzeitigen Einsatz verschiedener Speichermedien führen.

Unter der Leitung von Prof. Dr. Dirk Uwe Sauer vom Institut für Stromrichtertechnik und elektrische Antriebe der RWTH Aachen berichten kompetente Referenten aus den Forschungs- und Entwicklungsabteilungen führender Unternehmen der Automobil- und Automobilzulieferindustrie über den aktuellen Entwicklungsstand, Praxiserfahrungen und neue Trends.

22. First Fully Electric Smart Delivered to Coventry City Council

The car is the first of 100 cars to be delivered as part of a UK-based market trial for the introduction of a fully electric version of the two-seater (smart ed).

The car will be made available on a lease arrangement to selected UK corporate customers. It has 30kW output and a top speed of 60 mph. It offers nippy in-town performance with 0-30 mph in 6.5 seconds. With a range of up to 70 miles, the smart ed is exempt from vehicle excise duty and congestion charge.

23. Forscher entdecken rekordverdächtiges Speichermaterial für Wasserstoff

(Quelle: IBZ) - Amerikanische Wissenschaftler haben eine neue Klasse von Materialien entdeckt, die als Speichermedien für Wasserstoff dienen können. Die Stoffe bestehen aus Kohlenwasserstoff-Metallverbindungen und können bis zu 14 Prozent ihres Gewichts an Wasserstoff aufnehmen.

Bisherige Wasserstoffspeicher – meist werden sogenannte Metallhydride eingesetzt – erreichen nicht einmal die Hälfte dieses Werts.

24. Final Countdown to London Low Emission Zone

(Source: FTA) London - The Freight Transport Association says that with only 50 working days remaining before the implementation of the London Low Emission Zone (LEZ), many operators have still not got their fleets ready. On 4 February 2008 all vehicles over 12 tonnes will have to meet the Euro 3 standards for particulate matter (PM10).

Vehicles over 3.5 tonnes come into the scheme on 7 July, along with buses and coaches (over 9 seats). The standard can be met by using vehicles bought since October 2001, when the Euro 3 standard became the norm, or by having the vehicle fitted with a particulate trap.

25. Fisker Automotive Preview Premium Plug-In Hybrid

(Source: Fisker)Irvine, Calif. - Quantum Technologies, a publicly traded company and Fisker Coachbuild, LLC disclose continuing developments of the first production vehicle to come from Fisker Automotive, Inc. - the green American premium car company. The four-door plug-in hybrid premium sports sedan will make its debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January with a starting price of $80,000.

Initial deliveries will commence in the 4th quarter of 2009 with annual production projected to reach 15,000 cars. Each Fisker vehicle will feature an all-new from the ground up platform. Certification, testing and drive train development will be conducted by joint venture partner Quantum Technologies.

26. Fiat stellt erste Wasserstoff-Pandas für die Stadt Mantova bereit

(Quelle: ots/prn/Nuvera) Mantova, Italien - Centro Ricerche Fiat (CRF) hat heute der italienischen Stadt Mantova im Rahmen des Projekts „Zero Regio“ drei Panda-Modelle übergeben, die durch Nuvera-Brennstoffzellen angetrieben werden. „Zero Regio“ ist ein integriertes Projekt, das darauf abzielt, für das italienische Mantova und für die deutsche Stadt Frankfurt Transportsysteme mit null Schadstoffausstoß zu entwickeln und im Alltagsverkehr unter Beweis zu stellen.

Die drei durch Wasserstoff angetriebenen Pandas wurden zusammen mit einer ENI-Tankstation bereitgestellt, die für unterschiedliche Kraft- bzw. Brennstoffe verwendet werden kann und Wasserstoff mit einem Druck von 350 bar verfügbar macht.

27. Fiat Presents Fuel Cell Powered-Panda Fleet to City of Mantova

(Source: Nuvera) Mantova, Italy - Centro Ricerche Fiat (CRF) presented three Nuvera Fuel Cell-powered Panda cars to the municipality of Mantova today as part of the Zero Regio project. Zero Regio is an integrated project aimed at developing and demonstrating zero emission road transport systems in normal daily use in Mantova, Italy, and Frankfurt, Germany.

The three hydrogen Pandas were presented alongside an ENI multi-fuel refilling station, offering pressurized hydrogen at 350 bar. Following today’s event, the vehicles will serve the city of Mantova in a number of different civic applications.

28. Fisker Automotive: Neuer Autohersteller für Luxus-Hybridautos gegründet

(Quelle: Fisker/prn) Irvine, Kalifornien - Quantum Technologies und Fisker Coachbuild haben die Gründung des Gemeinschaftsunternehmens Fisker Automotive bekannt gegeben. Fisker Automotive wird eine Reihe umweltfreundlicher Hybridfahrzeuge anbieten. Im Januar soll das erste Serienfahrzeug auf der Detroit Auto Show 2008 in Nordamerika vorgestellt werden.

Anfänglich werden voraussichtlich 15.000 Fahrzeuge pro Jahr vom Band laufen, deren Preisrahmen bei unter 100.000 USD beginnen soll. Die Konzeption und technische Entwicklung des ersten Serienfahrzeugs hat bereits begonnen. Alle Modelle werden mit der modularen Hybrid-Technologie namens Quantum Drive ausgestattet, die Quantum Technologies exklusiv für Fisker Automotive entwickelt hat.

29. Ford startet Pendlerportal "Pendolaris"

(Quelle: ar) Ford startet zusammen mit seinem Mitarbeiter-Automobil-Verein heute (16. August 2007) im Internet das Pendlerportal „Pendolaris“. Es soll bundesweit Fahrgemeinschaften vermitteln und steht nicht nur Ford-Mitarbeitern, sondern jedermann zur Verfügung.

Unter der Internet-Adresse www.pendolaris.de kann man sich mit und ohne eigenes Fahrzeug kostenlos registrieren lassen. Pendolaris (pendolare = italienisch für Pendler) ist bundesweit das erste Portal für die Vermittlung von Fahrgemeinschaften, das „geo-referenziert“ arbeitet.

30. Ford-Edison Project to Evaluate Potential Values of PHEVs
